Quarter horseracing. never been done before or since. I was hooked, done nothing but work horse
work ever since.
Louisiana Downs
We went from there after wintering in Dillon colorodo to Louisana Downs. Got good job with
Louis Marshall. Won races there, then N,awlins. Then the rest as they say is history. louis folded
I worked for CW Walker for eight years. Win a ton of races. One nite after races walking to
French Quarter white limosine pulled over window came down. Man said you dont know me, I'm announcer for track and I see yall in winners circle all time you must work very hard. Asked if we
wanted ride we walked on to quarter ate went back to huge house on Espinade where we lived in
sectioned off apt kept 8 years. Went into pony business. Worked for 4 Hall of fame trainers over
years. Many fine horses and people, the usung heroes of racetrack,hotwalker,grooms,gallop boys/
girls. Worked for Bud Delp,Spectacular Bid Jack Van Berg,Alysheba,Hoss Inman, Don Von Hemmel,
Harry Trotseck. Ive been very fortunate in my career. Passed trainers test first try, thn broke back.
Conquered motor cycles again and horses. Now biggest challenge of life. Coast to coast in
covered wagon for charitys helping those less fortunate. God willing this will be a great success
Take care of horses they will take care of me. Americaand GOD will take care of us.
