ABOUT LADDER FARM

The concept of Ladder H Farms grew after I injured my spine fifteen years ago. I took back my independence after Drs. could do nothing but tell me what I couldn't do! I refused to listen to their negativity and took my life back. I've ridden my motorcycle through two motors and three transmissions. I've continued to train horses and even ride them. Ladder H farms' purpose will be to raise money for a handicapped accessible and therapeutic horse farm, where the disabled can get out and see amateur rodeos. A place where all can enjoy cookouts, hayrides, horseback rides among new friends.

To promote this venture I will take my wheelchair and two Morgan a stud and a mare from Williston, Florida to California, all the way to the Pacific Ocean. Via my website, homebound people and others will be able to virtually go along on the wagon trip with me. Through videos, pictures, and stories of who I met, we'll find out what kind of Americans are really out there.

It will not be a picnic. Three thousand miles (approximately). The horses will come first, care and grooming, nutrition, feet. Then my dog Lil Bear and I. I believe there are a lot of good people in this country, so come along with me see for yourself.

Ladder H Farms is a non-profit organization. There will be a place on this site soon with information on where you can donate. Funds, pledges per mile, horses, farm equipment and time are all welcome. We can really raise awareness to the problems at home! A penny a mile is thirty dollars. After our horse park is up and working, all monies will be donated to stem cell research.

I will make this trip. America will make this project work. Ladder H Farms, the Ladder H stands for Horses Helping Handicapped Humans. Horses have proven therapeutic in many handicapped programs. All handicapped humans and their families will benefit from your help.
